Happy New Year! In some of my own words…

Gray: “Mom, why do you quote things so much?” Me: “Because they are usually things that ring true for all of us. Why make up new words when someone has already said it so well?”

And with those words of mine, I present you with the Meredith Grey quotes that says the rest so well for me.

“Who gets to determine when the old ends and the new begins? It’s not on the calendar , it’s not a birthday, it’s not a new year. It’s an event, big or small, something that changes us. Ideally, that gives us hope, a new way of living and looking at the world, a way of letting go of old habits, old memories. What’s important is that we never stop believing that we can have a new beginning, but it’s also important to remember that, amid all the crap, there are a few thing worth holding on to.” Meredith Grey

Since I could not have said it better, I will simply say, happy 2014! May we all be often inspired to begin.

Happy 2014!
